- The test is technically not feasible. The test was attempted but the experimental phase was discontinued since the level of test item ‘interference’ is not compatible with this test.
A preliminary solubility trial was performed using water for injection, dimethylsulfoxide, ethanol and acetone. Suspensions feasible for treatment were obtained in water and were used in the preliminary toxicity test. At the end of the incubation a severe microbial interference was observed in all test item treated plates, hence evaluation of the background lawn and scoring of revertant colonies was not possible.
