First-aid measures

Description of first aid measures:
Remove from exposure. Remove contaminated clothing.
In case of inhalation:
Remove from exposure site to fresh air and keep at rest. Obtain medical advice.
In case of skin contact:
Remove any contaminated clothing or shoes. Wash affected areas thoroughly with soap and water for at least 15 minutes.
In case of eyes contact:
Remove contact lenses. Hold eyelids apart. Flush immediately with water for at least 15 minutes.
In case of ingestion:
If swallowed, Rinse mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting. Obtain medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media:
Suitable extinguishing media: Carbon dioxide, dry chemical or appropriate foam.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Not applicable.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Emits toxic fumes under fire conditions (See also Section Hazardous decomposition products).
Advice for fire-fighters:
Firefighters must Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes.

Accidental release measures

SECTION 6: Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
For non-emergency personnel:
Remove ignition sources. Provide adequate ventilation. Avoid inhalation of vapour or dust. Avoid skin and eye contact.
For emergency responders:
Wear an appropriate NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator if mist, vapor or dust is generated.
Environmental Precautions:
Avoid disposing into drainage/sewer system or directly into the aquatic environment.
Methods for Containment and Cleaning up:
Small spills may be flushed away with copious water. Absorb large spills with sand or inert powder.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling:
Protective measures:
Wash thoroughly after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Use only in a well-ventilated area. Use with adequate ventilation. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Keep containers closed.
Advice on general occupational hygiene:
Wash thoroughly after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Use with adequate ventilation
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Store in a cool, dry and well ventilated place. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Keep container tightly closed. Store separately from oxidizing agents.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Exposure controls
Appropriate engineering controls:
Maintain adequate ventilation in working area. Avoid excessive inhalation of vapours or dust. In accordance with good manufacturing and industrial practices.
Individual protection measures, such as personal protective equipment:
Eye/face protection Wear safety goggles.
Hand protection Wear suitable protective gloves.
Body protection No special measures required.
Respiratory protection No special measures required.
Thermal hazards No special measures required.
Environmental exposure controls:
Avoid discharge into the environment. This material and its container must be disposed of as hazardous waste. According to local regulations, Federal and official regulations.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity:
Stable under normal conditions.
Chemical stability:
Stable under normal conditions.Possibility of hazardous reactions:
Under normal conditions, not hazardous reactions will occur.
Conditions to avoid:
Incompatible materials and direct sunlight.
Incompatible materials:
Strong oxidizing agents.
Hazardous decomposition products:
Hazardous decomposition products; carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, unidentified hazardous organic and inorganic compounds.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods
Waste disposal in accordance with current laws and regulations, Avoid disposing into drainage/sewer system or directly into the aquatic environment.
Product / Packaging disposal:
According to local regulations. Emptied container might retain product residues. Follow all warnings even after the container is emptied. Do not shred containers before they are thoroughly cleaned from product residues.
