Administrative data
First-aid measures
INHALATION: Removal of exposed individual from area to the fresh air.
EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician.
SKIN CONTACT: Immediately flush skin with plenty of water.
INGESTION: Immediately rinse out the mouth with water.
NOTE TO PHYSICIANS: Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
FLAMMABLE PROPERTIES: Not flammable.
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Water, Carbon dioxide, or Foam.
FIREFIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS:
Keep personnel removed from and upwind of fire. Wear full firefighting turnout gear (full bunker gear) and respiratory protection (self-contained breathing apparatus). Cool container with water spray.
Accidental release measures
ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
INITIAL CONTAINMENT:
Dike spill. Prevent material from entering sewers, waterways, or low areas.
SPILL CLEAN UP:
Vacuum or sweep material and place in a disposal container.
Handling and storage
HANDLIND AND STORAGE
HANDLING:
Place available equipment for face and body washing at the workplace.
Wear proper protective equipment to avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothes.
Avoid rough handling, dropping, falling dragging or mechanical shock.
Avoid open flames or other sources of ignition or spark at the workplace.
Ensure proper air ventilation at the work place and if necessary place local exhaust ventilation.
If risk of inhalation of dust, wear effective dust mask. Take care of good personal hygiene, especially gargle, after handling this material. Avoid raising a dust cloud because of risk of dust explosion.
Take precautionary measures against explosion and static discharge.
STORAGE:
Store the product at dark and cool places. Protect from light. Keep container tightly closed.
Use the product early after break the seal, for the possibility of microbial contamination.
