Since the freezing temperature of the test material was observed relatively close to the detection limit of -50 °C of the temperature probe, deionized water with a known freezing point of 0 °C was evaluated in addition to the test material for method verification. The freezing point of deionized water was determined to be 0 °C.

Conclusions:
A freezing point range of -44 to -43 °C was observed for MTDID 47403 (OECD 102).
Executive summary:

The freezing point range of MTDID 47403 was determined by placing the test material in a dry ice bath with temperature probe readings. The study was conducted in accordance with the OECD 102 method and was GLP compliant; therefore the study is considered reliable without restrictions.
