First-aid measures
- After inhalation: Take affected persons into fresh air and keep quiet. Call a doctor immediately. In case of unconsciousness place patient stably in side position for transportation.
- After skin contact: Call a doctor immediately. Immeditely wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.
- After eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
- After swallowing: Rinse out mouth and then drink plenty of water.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing agents: Fire-extinguishing powder. Foam. Carbon dioxide. Water spray. Use fire-extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding conditions.
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: In case of fire, the following can be released: Carbon monoxide (CO).
- Advice for firefighters:
Protective equipment: Wear self-contained respiratory protective device.
Additional information: Collect contaminated fire fighting water separatety. It must not enter the sewage system.
Accidental release measures
- Environmental precautions: Do not allow to penetrate the ground/soil. Do not allow to enter sewers/surface or ground water.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Send for recovery or disposal in suitable receptacles. Absorb with liquid-binding material (sand, diatomite, acid binders, universal binders, sawdust). Dispose contaminated material as waste according to item 13. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Handling and storage
- Information about fire -and explosion protection: No special measures required.
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Store away from water. Alkohole, Amine. Protect from humidity and water. Keep container tightly sealed. Storage class: 10.

Exposure controls / personal protection
- Respiratory protection: Suitable respiratory protective device recommended. In case of brief exposure or low pollution use respiratory filter device. In case of intensive or longer exposure use self-contained respiratory protective device.
- Protection of hands: The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product/ the substance/ the preparation/ the chemical mixture. Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the degradation.
Material of gloves: Butyl rubber, BR. Recommended thickness of the material:≥ 0.3 mm. The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.
Penetration time of glove material: Value for the permeation: Level ≤ 4 (≤ 120 min). The exact break trough time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed.
- Eye protection: Tightly sealed goggles.
- Body protection: Use protective suit. Protective work clothing.
Stability and reactivity
- Chemical stability:
Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided: No decomposition if used and stored according to specifications.
- Possibility of hazardous reactions: Reacts violently with water. Reacts with alcohols, amines, aqueous acids and alkalis.
- Conditions to avoid: No further relevant information available.
- Incompatible materials: No further relevant information available.
- Hazardous decomposition products: No dangerous decomposition products known.
Disposal considerations
Recommendation: after prior treatment product has to be disposed of in an incinerator for hazardous waste adhering to the regulations pertaining to the disposal of particularly hazardous waste. Must not be disposed together with household garbage. Do not allow product to reach sewage to reach sewage system.
- Uncleaned packaging:
Recommendation: Disposal must be made accoding to official regulations.
