Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
Short-term toxicity to fish
In a 96 -hour semi-static test according to EU Method C.1 and OECD Guideline 203 the 96 -h NOEC was determined to be 0.32 mg/L (equivalent to 100 mg/L nominal concentration) and the LOEC > 0.32 mg/L (equivalent to > 100 mg/L nominal concentration). The test item had no toxic effect to Zebrafish (Danio rerio) up to and including aquatic saturation of the test item.
Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates
In a 48-hour semi-static test according to EU Method C.2, OECD Guideline 202 and EPA OPPTS 850.1010 the 48-hour EC50 of the test item was determined to be > 0.5 mg/L (geometric mean measured, corresponding to a nominal loading rate of 100 mg/L). The test item had no toxic effect to Daphnia magna up to and including aquatic saturation of the test item.
Toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria
In this 72-hour growth inhibition study on algae (Raphidocelis subcapitata), the obtained results showed that the test item had not any significant toxic effects on the test system.
The 72-h NOEC was determined to be 0.1 mg/L (Limit of detection, nominal 100 mg/L).
The 72-h LOEC was determined to be > 0.1 mg/L (Limit of detection, nominal > 100 mg/L).
All validity criteria were met. The results are based on nominal test item concentration and the LOD, in line with ECHA 2017.
Toxicity to aquatic microorganisms
In a study according to OECD 209 with activated sludge the test item had no influence on the specific respiration rates up to 1000 mg/L. Thus, the EC50 (3h) was determined to be > 1000 mg/L and the NOEC (3h) to be 1000 mg/L.
