Executive summary:

The particle size distribution of test item was analyzed by laser diffraction tecnique, according to the ISO 13320 method.

A representative sample of the test item was fed to the powder dispersing cell Scirocco 2000. The diffraction pattern of the laser light is measured by the detector of the particle analyzer. From the measured diffraction pattern the particle size distribution was calculated.

Based on the mean of two replicates, the D10, D50 and D90 were was found to be 1.9, 8.0 and 35.3 µm, respectively.

Conclusion

D50: 8.0 µm
