Conclusion on classification

Referring to the effect concentrations of HPP 12879 -1 it has to be classified according to the following reasons:

- The most sensitive acute toxicity for HPP 12879 -1 is to invertebrates. An EC50 of 16.4 mg/L has been determined for daphnids after 48 h.

- HPP 12879 -1 is not readily biodegradable

Depending on this the substance has to be classified as Category Chronic 3, H412, Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects, according to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
