Overallmelting temperaturerange: 151 to 166°C (424 to 439K)
Due to the broad endotherm obtained for the melting of the test item, potentially attributable to the composition of the test item, a melting temperature range has been reported.
Due to minor variance in the onset and endset temperatures obtained for the duplicate determinations, the overall result has been reported as the maximum range observed.
The remaining residue on completion of each determination, that of a pale yellow/amber solid, indicated possible minor decomposition of the test item during melting.
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- The melting temperature range of the test item has been determined to be 151 to 166 °C (424 to 439 K).
- Executive summary:
Melting/FreezingPoint. The melting temperature range of the test item was determined to be151 to 166°C (424 to 439K). Testing was performed bydifferential scanning calorimetry, using a procedure designed to be compatible with Method A.1 Melting/Freezing Temperature of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008and Method 102 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995.
