Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
Dimethylbis(octadecyloxy)silane has been tested for acute eye irritation in an study conducted according to a protocol equivalent or similar to OECD TG 405. Conjunctival redness and discharge was observed in all animals one hour after application but were resolved by 4 hours after application. It is concluded that the test substance is not irritating to eyes.
