Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
If inhaled: General emergency measures for keeping the respiratory tract open.
In case of skin contact: Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately.
Wash off with soap and water.
In case of eye contact: If in eye rinse with water for 15 minutes.
Consult an ophthalmologist.
If swallowed : Do not induce vomiting.
Rinse mouth with water.
Call a doctor immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Dry powder, foam, water mist. Extinguisher: Carbon dioxide (CO2), powder, water
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Formation of toxic/hazardous combustion gases or vapors is possible in the event of fire.
Advice for firefighters: Do not stay in dangerous zone without suitable chemical protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Avoid contact with the substance with skin and eyes. Use protective equipment.
Environmental precautions: Do not allow uncontrolled discharge of product into the environment.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up: Absorb spilled substance dry. Thorough cleaning with water. Maintain adequate ventilation. Dispose contaminated material as waste.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling: Keep away from sources of ignition. Take measures against electrostatic charging.
Conditions of safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Store in tightly closed vessels.
