Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
- Following inhalation: remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Get medical advice/attention.
- Following skin contact: Rinse skin immediately with water and soap. Get medical advice/attention.
- Following eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Get medical advice/attention.
- Following ingestion: rinse mouth. Get medical advice/attention.
- Most important symptoms and effects: not known.
Fire-fighting measures
- Unsuitable extinguishing media: water jet
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: in case of fires, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide can be formed. Formation of traces of other toxic gases cannot be excluded in case of fire.
- Advice for fire fighter: Special protective measures and equipment for fire-fighters: do not inhale explosion or incendiary gas; wear breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
- Protective equipment and emergency procedures: Wear protective equipment. Avoid formation of dust.
- Environmental precautions: Do not allow product to reach sewage system or any water course. Do not allow to enter the ground/soil.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Pick up mechanically. Dispose of the material collected according to regulations.
Handling and storage
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Keep away from sources of ignition. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Dust may form explosive mixture with air. Use water to cool receptacles in danger. Keep only in the original container. Keep the container tightly closed and in a cool, well-ventilated place. Protect from heat and direct sunlight. Store t < 30 °C. Do not store together with oxidizing agents. Storage class 11.

Exposure controls / personal protection
2.. Body protection: protective clothing.
3. Eye protection: protective glasses.
4. Respiratory protection: at development of dust/fume: filter device for short term use: Filter P2
Stability and reactivity
2. Chemical stability: Stable under normal conditions.
3. Possibility of hazardous reactions: risk of polymerisation.
4. Conditions to avoid: open flames, sparks, heat and direct sunlight.
5. Incompatible materials: oxidizing agents.
6. Hazardous decomposition products: in the presence of radical formers (e.g. peroxides), reducing substances and/or heavy metal ions, polymerisation takes place under heat generation.
