Due to the fact that the retention time of the very broad test item signal was below the retention time of the reference substance with the lowest log Pow (acetanilide), the log Pow of the test item could only be estimated according to OECD Test Guideline 117.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
In an experimental study conducted according to OECD Test Guideline 117 (2008), the log Pow of the test item was estimated to be < 1.0.
Executive summary:

The partition coefficient n-octanol/water log Pow of the test item was investigated in a study conducted according to OECD Test Guideline 117 (2008). The HPLC method was applied. In this study the retention time of the very broad test item signal was below the retention time of the reference substance with the lowest log Pow (acetanilide). Therefore, the partition coefficient of the test item could only be estimated according to OECD Test Guideline 117, resulting in a log Pow of < 1.0.
