- Preliminary Test:

The estimated auto-ignition temperature was 365°C.

- Main Study:

The results of the main study on the determination of the auto-ignition temperature of the test material are given in Table 2. Ignition of the test material within 5 minutes after introduction was observed with each sample volume and with each test a minimum auto-ignition temperature was obtained. The maximum deviation between the three values was < 20°C. According to the guidelines, no further testing was required. The lowest temperaure at which ignition of the test material occurred was 321°C. This temperature was rounded down to the nearest multiple of 5°C giving an auto-ignition temperature of the test material of 320°C.

Conclusions:
Under the conditions of the study, the test material has an auto-ignition temperature of 320, °C at an atmospheric pressure of between 1016.2 and 1022.9 hPa.
Executive summary:

The auto-ignition temperature of the test material was investigated in accordance with the standardised guidelines EU Method A.15 and DIN 51794, under GLP conditions. Three tests were performed and ignition of the test material within 5 minutes after introduction was observed with each sample volume and with each test a minimum auto-ignition temperature was obtained.
