Two test series with different weights of the substance were carried out in helium gas at 20 °C. To ensure the complete purging and thermal equilibration of the system the first five measurements of each experiment were excluded from evaluation. For averaging only the results of the last ten measurements were used. The results of all the measurement are reported in the table below.

Description of key information

Relative density 1.47 (technical substance) and 1.52 (pure substance) at 20 °C (OECD Guideline 109, pycnometer)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.47

Additional information

The density value for technical substance has been selected as key value, as technical purity better represents the reality.
