Description of key information

Niobium(II) oxide is a grey crystalline solid with a self-ignition temperature of 292 °C and a relative density of 7.30 g/cm³. The substance is non-flammable and does not have explosive properties. The substance has oxidizing properties (Category 2) and the water solubility is relatively low (1.74 µg/L at 22 °C and pH 8). The melting point of the inorganic substance is 1937 °C. The particle size distribution of the test item Niobium(II) oxide is:

D10: 1.51 µm;

D50: 8.86 µm;
