Endpoint conclusion
Additional information:

All components of the Reaction Mass of Butane and Butene (Butene, CAS 25167-67-3; Butane, CAS 106-97-8; Isobutane, CAS 75-28-5; 2-Methylpropene, CAS 115-11-7) are flammable gases at room temperature and therefore, the requirement for data on skin sensitisation is waived in accordance with REACH Annex VII.No studies have been conducted on skin sensitisation with the components, but there are no indications that any of the substances cause skin sensitisation.

Migrated from Short description of key information:
Data are waived in accordance with REACH Annex VII, because all compounds are flammable gases at room temperature.

Respiratory sensitisation

Additional information:
Migrated from Short description of key information:
Data on respiratory sensitisation are not required for intermediates in accordance with REACH Annex VII. No studies have been conducted on respiratory sensitisation with the components, but there are no indications that any of the substances cause respiratory sensitisation.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Since in accordance with REACH Annex VII the requirement for data on skin sensitisation is waived and data on respiratory sensitisation are not needed, a classification according to Annex VI of Directive 67/548/EWG or Annex I of Directive 1272/2008 (EU-GHS) is not required.
