Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The chemical structure of the test substance does not contain metals or metalloids. In addition, the test substance is partially soluble in water (12.6 mg/L (25 °C, calculated) and forms a stable mixture with water. Thus according to the UN recommendations it can be concluded beyond a reasonable doubt that the test substance does not react with water to emit flammable gases.

Handling experience with the test substance indicates stable behaviour when in contact with air at room temperature over a prolonged period of time (days). No noticeable reactions, i.e. changes in colour, smoke formation, spark formation were observed. Thus according to the UN Recommendations it can be concluded beyond a reasonable doubt that the test substance is not a pyrophoric liquid and does not have a potential for spontaneous ignition
