Results and discussion

Vapour pressure
Key result
Test no.:
#1
Temp.:
25 °C
Vapour pressure:
67.5 Pa
Remarks on result:
other: Calculation method used
Remarks:
The material was too volatile for the vapour pressure balance method even when the system was coded below ambient temperature.

Discussion

Attempts were made to determine the vapour pressure experimentally.  The isoteniscope method was unsuccessful because at the temperatures required to provide suitable manometer readings the sample began to decompose.

The material was too volatile for the vapour pressure balance method even when the system was coded below ambient temperature.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of the test material has been calculated to be 67.5 Pa at 25°C.
Executive summary:

The vapour pressure was calculated following Method A4 of Commission Directive 92/69/EEC (which constitutes Annex V of Council Directive 67/548/EEC, in accordance with Method 104 of OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals.
