Conclusions:
The log Pow of the test material was determined to be 5.0.
Executive summary:

The partition coefficient of the test item was determined by HPLC method according to OECD TG 117. A calibration curve was constructed from the retention time data of thiourea and six reference standard solutions. The log Pow was determined to be 5.0, and it was calculated by HPLC calibration curve.

This study is reliable without restrictions (Klimisch 1) as it followed an accepted guideline.

Description of key information

The log Pow of the test material was determined to be 5.0.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):
5
at the temperature of:
40 °C

Additional information

The partition coefficient of the test item was determined by HPLC method according to OECD TG 117 (2014). A calibration curve was constructed from the retention time data of thiourea and six reference standard solutions. The log Pow was determined to be 5.0, and it was calculated by HPLC calibration curve.

This study is reliable without restrictions (Klimisch 1) as although it is not GLP-compliant it followed an accepted, standard guideline.
