Description of key information

Short-term toxicity to invertebrates

The acute toxicity of the test item on Daphnia magna was determined in a 48-hour static test according to the OECD 202 (2004). A limit test was performed with a nominal concentration of 100 mg/L. The determined 48-hour EC50 was >100 mg/L. In conclusion, the test item had no acute toxic effects on Daphnia magna in a 48-hour static test up to the nominal concentration of 100 mg/L.

Toxicity to algae

The impact of the test item on the growth of the freshwater green algal species Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata was investigated in a 72-hour static test according to the OECD 201 (2006). The nominal test item concentrations tested were 0.32, 1.0, 3.2, 10, 32 and 100 mg/L. The biological results were related to the nominal concentrations:

72h-ErC10 (growth rate) >100 mg/L

72h-ErC50 (growth rate) >100 mg/L
