Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Short-term toxicity to fish

The acute toxicity of the test substance to Zebrafish (Danio rerio) was determined in a study (BASF SE, 2016) according to OECD 203 (1992) under GLP conditions. After 96 hours the LC50 was determined to be nominal greater than 6 mg/L.

Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

In the static immobilization test, young Daphnia magna STRAUSS (< 24 h old) were exposed to the test item for 48 hours according to OECD 202 (2004). The EC50 value was determined to be nominal 9.29 mg test item/L.

Toxicity to algae and cyanobacteria

The toxicity of the test substance to the freshwater alga Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata KORSHIKOV was determined in a study (BASF SE, 2016) according to the principles of OECD 201 (2006) under GLP conditions. The following effect concentrations were obtained after 72-h based on geometric mean measured concentration: The 72-hour ErC50 value was determined to be 5.25 mg test item/L. The 72-hour NOErC was determined to be 1.05 mg/L and the associated 72-hour ErC10 was determined to be 2.79 mg/L. All reported results refer to the geometric mean measured concentrations.

Toxicity to microorganisms

The toxic effects of the test substance on the oxygen consumption rate of aerobic microorganisms (activated sludge) after short-term exposure of 180 min were determined according to the OECD 209 (2010). The EC50 was determined to be nominal 90 mg/L and the EC10 was determined to be nominal lower than 62.5 mg/L.
