Description of key information

Gene mutation of the target2-Benzyl-4-(dimethylamino)butanoic acidwas estimated by using the following predictors: Derek Nexus, Sarah Nexus, Vega (four models).

The predictors were employed in order to apply a weight of evidence (WoE) approach to enhance the reliability of the prediction. In the weight of evidence assessment only reliable predictions are to be taken into account.

Vega models predicted the target compound as non-mutagenic (high reliable - CAESAR), possible non-mutagenic (high reliable - SarPy/IRFMN), non-mutagenic (moderate reliable - ISS) and non-mutagenic (high reliable - KNN/Read-Across).

Derek Nexus and Sarah Nexus were in agreement providing a negative prediction.

Therefore, it was concluded that 2-Benzyl-4-(dimethylamino)butanoic acid was predicted with a high level of confidence as negative.

Additional information

The prediction was provided on the substance2-Benzyl-4-(dimethylamino)butanoic acid (CAS 1613 -23 -6), the acid form of the substance in the object of the registration.
