Description of key information

The partition coefficient was 8.79 x 10E3, log10 Pow 3.94, using the HPLC method, designed to be compatible with Method A8 Partition Coefficient of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 117 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 13 April 2004.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):

Additional information

The partition coefficient of the test substance was assessed according to Method A8 Partition Coefficient of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 117 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 13 April 2004 using the HPLC method. The partition coefficient was 8.79 x 10E3, log10 Pow 3.94. The chromatography of the test item showed one main peak with a well-defined and reproducible retention time. The HPLC method was therefore considered to be suitable for the purpose of the test.
