Description of key information

Short-term toxicity to fish

The short-term toxicity of the test item was determined according to OECD Guideline 203 and EU Council Regulation No. 440/2008/C.1. The 96 h-LC50 value was determined to be greater than 64 mg/L.

Short term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

The acute immobilisation of the test item to Daphnia magna was determined according to OECD guideline 202. The EC50 value after 48 h was determined to be greater than 100 mg/L.

Toxicity to aquatic algae

The toxicity of the test item to the unicellular freshwater green alga Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata was determined according to the principles of OECD 201 and Council Regulation (EC) No. 761/2009 C.3. The EC50-value for inhibition of growth rate (ErC50) after 72 hours was 141.0 mg/L. The EC10-value for inhibition of growth rate after 72 hours was 53.4 mg/L; Inhibition of yield (EyC50) after 72 hours was 64.2 mg/L. The EC10-value for inhibition of yield (EyC10) after 72 hours was 36.4 mg/L.

Toxicity to microorganisms

In a ready biodegradability test no toxic effects to microorganisms were observed after incubation with 20.0 mg/L test substance.
