Conclusion on classification

Acute aquatic toxicity:

No classification

No acute effects up to solubility limit of the substance were observed in the available aquatic tests (according to OECD 203, 2012, according to OECD 201, 2014)

Thus, the substance has not to be classified for aquatic acute toxicity according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP).

Chronic aquatic toxicity:

No classification

The test substance was shown to be not readily biodegradable. The logPow is 4.01. In a weight of evidence approach thze BCF was estimated to be < 500. Furthermore, the test substance was tested in aquatic toxicity test with algae according to OECD guideline 201 (2014) and chronic aquatic toxicity test with Daphnia magna according to OECD guideline 211 (2015). In both tests the test substance had no observable effect on algae growth and reproduction on aquatic invertebrates, respectively, up to its saturation limit in test media and under test conditions. Thus, the substance has not to be classified for aquatic chronic toxicity according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP).
