Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
other: not readily combustible

EG 440/2008: not readily combustible solid
Executive summary:

The substance was tested for flammability according to VDI 2263 sheet 1. When using a flame as ignition source the sample showed no burming but only melting. When using a hot platinum wire as ignition source first melting was observed. After further application of the hot platinum wire decomposition gases were released that ignited. Self acting propargation of the flame was observed.

The burning behaviour of the sample has to be classified with burning rate 5 (burning with flame or spark generation).

The main test to determine the burning rate was not nessary because the substance showed no burning during the application of the gas flame for two minutes.
