Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The substance is determined to be not flammable by ignition, not flammable in contact with water, not oxidising, not pyrophoric, negative in the EC A.14 tests (thermal stability and mechanical sensitivity by shock and friction) and is not an organic peroxide. The substance is stored under normal conditions (room temperature in the dark). It is known from experiments that decomposition starts at relative high temperatures, i.e. at approx. 300°C (see endpoints 4.2 and 4.12). The major substance components A and B are large organic molecules and the proportion of the contiguous nitrogen atoms is low. Based on all available information, it was concluded that the substance does not have to be classified for the CLP hazard 'self-reactive substances' and testing does not need to be to be considered.
