Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the flammability of the read-across substance 'glycerides, C16-18 and C18 unsatd., deodorizer distillates' in accordance with the EU Method A.10 in compliance with GLP. In a preliminary test, a pile of the test substance with a length of 250 mm, a width of 20 mm and a height of 10 mm was prepared in a aluminium mould. The pile was ignited at one end with a hot flame from a gas burner. The substance did not ignite in the preliminary test. Therefore, no further testing was required. Under the conditions of the study, the substance is not considered to be highly flammable (Fieseler, 2010q).
