Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

With high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic organisms.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The short-term toxicity to fish is assessed based on a category approach. The category members are composed of a structurally analogue organic part but different metals that are laked with the organic structure. At environmentally relevant pH values disintegration of the molucule and a release of the metal component is not expected. Therefore an influence of the laked metal part is not expected. Fish acute toxicity data are available for different members of the category. In all studies no effects were observed up to the limit of water solubility of the tested substances. Based on this information no key value for assessment can be determined. The substance is however assessed to be with high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic organisms.

In addition, for the substance data is available from a guideline study on the acute toxicity of the substance to Oryzas latipes in which a LC50 (96 h) of >250 mg/L was determined. However, since only limited information on test performance is available the study is considered as supporting information.
