Administrative data

First-aid measures

In case of contact with eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical advice.

In case of contact with skin: Take off all contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash off with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Burns must be treated by a physician.

If inhaled: Move to fresh air immediately. Get medical attention immediately.

In case of ingestion: Do NOT induce vomiting. Rinse mouth. Take victim immediately to hospital.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishin media: Use water spray, alcohol resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide

Unsuitable extinguishing media: Do NOT use water jet

Special protective equipment for fire fighters: Wear self contained breathing apparatus for fire fighting.

Further information: Use water spray to cool unopened vessels.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Use personal protective equipment during maintenance and accidental release

Environmental precautions: Should accidental release occur, try to prevent material from entering drains or water courses

Methods for cleaning up: Should accidental release occur, neutralise with the following product(s): lime soda ash. Soak up with inert absorbent material. Shovel into suitable container for disposal. Flush with water
