Additional information

There are a key study focused on investigating skin irritation and one study on eye irritation due to their high adequate which were performed according to OECD test guidelines and complying with GLP. They all showed that the test material was not irritating to skin and eye in rabbit. Therefore the TCPP was not irritating to skin and eye in rabbit.

Justification for classification or non-classification

No human data are available, however, there is an extensive database in animals, indicating that TCPP is non-irritant in the rabbit eye and skin. The lack of any substantial skin or eye irritation and the lack of irritation observed in the acute inhalation studies suggest that TCPP would be unlikely to produce significant respiratory tract irritation.

According to Annex 6 (Directive 67 /548 /EEC), no classification is proposed.
