Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

One study was identified. The hydrolysis was determined using Method C.7 (Degradation: Abiotic Degradation: Hydrolysis as a Function of pH) and OECD Guideline No. 111 (the pre-test). GLP was followed. At pH 4, 7 and 9 and 50 °C, a degree of hydrolysis of < 10% was observed after 5 days. This corresponds with a half-life time at 25°C of > 1 year; the substance is hydrolytically stable at pH 4, 7 and 9.

Additional information

Samples were held for the following times: 121 hrs at pH9 and 50°C; 122 hrs at pH4 and 50°C; and 120 h at 50°C was at pH7. In each case less than 10% change in the original concentration of substance was observed. It is concluded that the substance is not readily hydrolyzable in water.
