First-aid measures

General advice: No hazards which require special first aid measures.

Inhalation: If breathed in, move person into fresh air. If symptoms persist, call a physician.

Skin contact: Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash the skin immediately with soap and water.

Eye contact: Rinse with plenty of water. Remove contact lenses. Protect unharmed eye. Keep eye wide open while rinsing. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.

Ingestion: Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If symptoms persist, call a physician.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing Media: Suitable;       Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.

Unsuitable; High volume water jet. Hazards During Fire-Fighting: Treat as oil fire. Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire.

Water spray may be ineffective unless used by experienced firefighters. Do not allow run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses.

Protective Equipment for Fire-Fighting: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Fire-Fighting/Further Advice: Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains. Fire residues and contaminated fire extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Decomposition Products: No hazardous decomposition products are known.

      

Accidental release measures

Personal Precautions: Use personal protective equipment.

Environmental precautions: Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. If the product contaminates rivers and lakes or drains inform

respective authorities.

Methods for cleaning up /Methods for containment: Pick up and arrange disposal without creating dust. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.

Handling and storage

Advice on safe handling: Dispose of rinse water in accordance with local and national

regulations.
