Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The surface tension of the test material was determined in accordance with standard guidelines OECD 115 and EU Method A.5 using the OECD harmonised ring tensiometer method. Under the conditions of the study, the surface tension of the test material dissolved in water at a concentration of 1 g/L (supernatant after centrifugation) at a temperature of 293 K was determined to be 59 mN/m. The test material meets the EU definition of surface active.

The study was performed in line with GLP and an accepted standardised guideline. The study was assigned a reliability score of 1 and considered suitable for assessment as an accurate reflection on the test material.

The data available is considered complete and the result determined, 59mN/m at 293 K at a concentration of 1 g/L, was taken forward for risk assessment.
