Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The self-heating temperature of the test material was determined by Test 1 of the Modified Bowes-Cameron Cage test in accordance with the standardised guideline United Nations (UN), UN no. ST/SG/AC.10/11/Rev.5: Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Part III: Classification Procedures, Test Methods and Criteria Relating to Class 2, Class 3, Class 4, Division 5.1, Class 8 and Class 9, Test N.4: “Test Method for Self-heating Substances”, 2009.

No exothermic effect of the test material was observed. The test material is “not a self-heating substance”.

The study was performed under GLP in line with an accepted standardised guideline with a high standard of reporting. The study was assigned a reliability score of 1 according to the principles for assessing data quality set out in Klimisch (1997) and is considered suitable for assessment as an accurate reflection of the test material.
