Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The substance (Glycerides, C16-18 mono-, di- and tri-, hydrogenated, citrates, potassium salts), which is a pale yellow solid, has a melting point of 60 °C as determined by Differential Scanning Calorimetry. The same method was used to assess the boiling point which was determined to be > 400 °C.

The density as determined according to OECD 109 is 1.032 g/cm³ at 22 °C.

The vapour pressure of the substance (determined according to NFT 20-048 AFNOR, Sept. 85) is below 5 Pa at 20 °C and 50 °C, respectively.

The log Pow of the test substance was estimated by HPLC (OECD Guideline 117), literature values and calculations by EPISuite. The overall log Pow of Glycerides, C16-18 mono-, di- and tri-, hydrogenated, citrates, potassium salts was estimated to be > 8.

The water solubility of the test substance was determined at 20 °C and pH 6-7 (ASTM E 1148 - 02). When applied at appr. 130 mg/L the water solubility of Glycerides, C16-18 mono-, di- and tri-, hydrogenated, citrates, potassium salts resulted in 10 ± 1 mg/L, whereas higher water solubility (50 ± 1 mg/L) was obtained when 1200 mg test substance per L were applied.
