Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure of 400160 was measured using the static method as described in OECD guideline 104 and EU method A.4.
The vapour pressure was calculated as 302 Pa at 20.0 °C and 398 Pa at 25 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
302 Pa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

Two initial experiments could not be evaluated as the test item requires very long equilibration times.

In a third experiment, applying application periods of at least 3.5 h, ten pairs of temperature and corresponding vapour pressure were measured, five at increasing temperature and five in the cooling down phase. From the measured values and under consideration of a leak rate of 0.0579 Pa*L/h a regression (log P = B*(1/T)+A) was calculated from which the vapour pressure at ambient temperature could be estimated.

The vapour pressure of the test item 400160 was calculated as 302 Pa at 20.0 °C and 398 Pa at 25 °C. The values of the heating and cooling down phase showed good correspondence. Therefore, the result of the study is considered valid.
