The freezing point of the substance was determined to be <-25°C.

The boiling point was determined to be approximately 300°C although some decomposition was observed at temperatures >280°C.

The relative density (D4,20) was determined to be 0.93.

The vapour pressure was determined to be 0.013 Pa at 25°C.

The octanol-water partition coefficient was found to be in the range 5.9 to >6.2.

The water solubility as determined by turbidimetry was 1.1 mg/L.

The surface tension of a 90% saturated aqueous solution was found to be 56.5 mN/m and of a 1 g/L aqueous dispersion was found to be 28.0 mN/m. The test substance was considered to be surface active according to these results.

The flash point was determined to be 176°C at 1026 mBar pressure

The auto-ignition temperature was determined to be 338°C.

From assessment of the structure the test substance was assessed as not having explosive or oxidising properties.
