First-aid measures

- After inhalation

Supply fresh air. If required, provide artificial respiration. Keep patient warm. Consult doctor if symptoms

persist.

In case of unconsciousness place patient stably in side position for transportation.

- After skin contact

Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.

Generally the product does not irritate the skin.

- After eye contact

Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.

- After swallowing

Call for a doctor immediately.

Induce vomiting, if person is conscious. Seek medical help.

Fire-fighting measures

- 5.1 Extinguishing media

- Suitable extinguishing agents: all agents are suitable. Use fire extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding conditions.

- 5.2 Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture

Under certain fire conditions, traces of other toxic gases cannot be excluded, e.g.: vanadiumoxide

- 5.3 Advice for firefighters

- Protective equipment: Wear self-contained respiratory protective device.

- Additional information

Collect contaminated firefighting water separately. It must not enter the sewage system.

Dispose of fire debris and contaminated firefighting water in accordance with official regulations.

Avoid formation of dust.

Use respiratory protective device against the effects of fumes/dust/aerosol.

- 6.2 Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.

Pick up mechanically.

Ensure adequate ventilation.

Send for recovery or disposal in suitable receptacles.

Handling and storage

Handling: Vacuum dust at point of formation. Provide proper protective gear for handling dusty materials. Personnel should clean up after handling. Avoid areas where dust is present.

Storage: Keep cool, dry and in closed containers
