Skin irritation
The test item is slightly irritating to the skin of rabbits according to OECD TG 404 study. All signs were fully reversible within 9 days. No systemic intolerance reactions were observed.
Eye irritation
The test item is not irritating to the eyes of rabbits according to OECD TG 405 study. No systemic intolerance reactions were observed.

24 hrs fluorescein test: no pathological findings - Interpretation of results:

Under the present test conditions (OECD TG 405), a single application of 0.1 ml of the test item per animal into the conjunctival sac of the right eye of three rabbits did not cause any changes at the examination time points 60 minutes, 24, 48 and 72 hours. The cornea, iris and eonjunctivae were not affected by instillation of the test compound. There were no systemic intolerance reactions.

Based on the study results a classification according to Directive 67/548/EEC or Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 (CLP) is not warranted.
