The substance is a gas with a high vapour pressure and a log Kow < 3.0. These physico-chemical properties make it unlikely that the substance will partition to water thus mitigating the potential for any exposure to aquatic organisms. Estimation of acute aquatic endpoints for three trophic levels was conducted using ECOSAR as outlined in the QMRF and QPRF documents. Based on the estimated endpoints, green algae are the most sensitive organisms followed by invertebrates and then fish.
