The test substance is a 270 average formula weight, novel amine containing both rigid (cycloaliphatic) and flexible (polyetheramine) segments in the same molecule. The substance is an UVCB. Most bioaccumulation tests are difficult to apply to UVCB substances and standard tests for this endpoint are intended for single substances. Estimates of the Pow values for the individual components may be used to assess the bioaccumulation potential of the substance. Measured log Pow values are available for the substance indicating that the main constituents have log Pow values <3. These results indicate a low bioaccumulation potential.
