Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water for up to 15 minutes. Seek
medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected area with soap and water. If irritation
develops, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, foam, dry chemical or water spray may be
used.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon,
nitrogen and sulfur together with some soot.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Full personal protective equipment and a self-contained
breathing apparatus should be worn.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1). Isolate spill
and take up using an industrial vacuum fitted with suitable
filtration system. Transfer to suitably labelled containers
and dispose of at a landfill site according to local
regulations. Avoid discharge to drains and watercourses.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid dust formation. Gloves, goggles, personal protective
clothing and an approved self-contained breathing apparatus
should be worn.
Storage: Store in tightly closed containers in a cool dry place.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Metal drums.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Material used in the printing inks will be recycled from one
run to the next. (A612)
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: None known.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Solid material should be disposed of in an approved
landfill. (A650)
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The substance may be disposed of by incineration at a
suitable facility. Waste gas treatment to remove oxides of
nitrogen and sulfur should be fitted (A661).
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery is not possible, the substance will be part of an
article.
Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - others: Articles containing the substance may be disposed of as for
domestic waste.
