First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: If sings/symptoms occur, remove person to fresh air. If
signs/symptoms continue, call a physician.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water. Get
immediate medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Flush skin with large amounts of water. If irritation
persists, get medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Drink two glasses of water. Call a physician.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, carbon dioxide, dry chemical, foam.
Product arising from burning: Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, hydrogen fluoride, toxic
vapors, gases or particulates .
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear protective clothing, including helmet, self-contained,
positive pressure or pressure demand breathing apparatus,
bunker coat and pants, bands around arms, waist and legs,
face mask, and protective covering for exposed areas of the
head.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Observe precautions from other sections. Ventilate area.
Contain spill. Cover with absorbent material. Collect
spilled material. Clean up residue with an appropriate
organic solvent. Read and follow safety precautions on the
solvent label and MSDS. Place in a closed container.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid eye and skin contact and inhalation of vapors, mists
or spray. Wear full protective clothing, including vented
goggles and appropriate gloves. Use half-mask or full-face
organic vapor respirator with dust/mist prefilter.
If exhaust ventilation is not adequate, use appropriate
respiratory protection.
Do not eat, drink or smoke when using the product. Wash
exposed area thoroughly with soap and water.
Storage: Store away from heat. Keep container closed when not in use.
Keep container in well-ventilated area.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 5.44 kg substance in a 3.785 liter steel drum or 27.2 kg in
18.925 liter steel drum.
