Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial
respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a
physician.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least
5 minutes. Get medical help if irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water thoroughly. Get medical help if
irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. If victim is unconscious,
do not give anything. Call physician.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, carbon dioxide, foam, dry chemical.
Product arising from burning: Thermal decomposition or combustion may produce toxic and
irritant gas, such as carbon monoxid, sulphur oxide,
nitrogen oxide and aromatic organic compounds.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and complete
personal protective equipment.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Personal protection:
Do not breathe dust. Use general and/or local exhaust
ventilation to control dust. Avoid contact with skin, eyes
and clothing. Keep away from food, drink and animal feed.
When using, do not eat, drink or smoke. Wash hands before
breaks and at the end of the work day. Safety showers and
eye washes are provided.
Exposure precautions:
Respiratory protection: if dust is generated, wear suitable
dust respirator.
Hand protection: gloves made of polyvinyl chloride
(outside), polyester (55 %) and cotton (45 %, inside).
Skin protection: wear suitable working clothes, gloves and
boots.
Eye protection: use safety glases and if dust is generated
safety goggles.
Methods for cleaning:
Sweep up, place in bag and hold for appropriate waste
disposal. Wash spill site after material pickup is
completed.
Environmental precautions:
Avoid discharging spill site wash water into sea, river or
lake without treatment and/or the authority's approval.
Handling and storage
Handling: Personal protection:

Occupational exposure controls:
Respiratory protection: if dust is generated, wear suitable
dust respirator.
Hand protection: gloves made of polyvinyl chloride
(outside), polyester (55 %) and cotton (45 %, inside).
Skin protection: wear suitable working clothes, gloves and
boots.
Eye protection: use safety glases and if dust is generated
safety goggles.
Handling:
Avoid raising dust.
Environmental exposure control:
Use general and/or local exhaust ventilation to control
dust. Prevent from entering into drains, ditches, rivers,
lakes or sea.
Storage: Keep away from direct sunlight. Store in a cool, dry place.
Keep away from oxidising agents, strong acids and bases and
high temperature.
