Administrative data
First-aid measures
General advice: Take off immediately all contaminated clothing.
Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Oxygen or artificial respiration if needed. In case of problems : Hospitalise.
Skin contact: Wash immediately, abundantly and thoroughly with soap and water. In case of problems : Hospitalise.
Eye contact: Wash open eyes immediately, abundantly and thoroughly for at least 15 minutes. Consult an ophthalmologist immediately.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting, rinse mouth and lips with plenty of water if the subject is conscious, then hospitalize.
Protection of first-aiders: Protective suit
Indication of immediate medical attention and special treatment needed, if necessary : None.
Fire-fighting measures
- Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, Foam, Dry powder
- Unsuitable extinguishing media: High volume water jet
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
Thermal decomposition giving toxic products: Carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides (NOx)
Advice for firefighters:Specific methods:
In case of fire nearby, remove exposed containers.
Cool containers / tanks with water spray. In case of fire nearby, remove exposed containers. Fight fire from a distance (more than 15 m).
Special protective actions for fire-fighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Prohibit contact with skin and eyes and inhalation of dust (or vapours). Use personal protective equipment. Prohibit all sources of sparks and
ignition - Do not smoke. Evacuate non-essential staff and those not equipped with individual protection apparatus.
Use personal protective equipment. In case ofinsufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment
Environmental precautions: Do not release into the environment. Do not let product enter drains.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up:
- Recovery: Shovel or sweep up. No sparking tools should be used. After cleaning, flush away traces with water. Recover waste water for processing
later.
- Elimination:Destroy the product by incineration (in accordance with local and national regulations).
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
-Technical measures/Precautions:
Product not completely tested. Take maximum precautions when handling.
Storage and handling precautions applicable to products: Solid. Self-reactive substances and mixtures. Harmful. Irritant. Sensitizing.
Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at machinery. Provide showers, eye-baths. Provide water supplies near the point of use. Provide self-contained breathing apparatus nearby.Provide electrical earthing of equipment. Provide fire-blanket nearby.
- Safe handling advice:
Prohibit contact with skin and eyes and inhalation of dust (or vapours). Prohibit all sources of sparks and ignition - Do not smoke. Take
precautionary measures against static discharges. Avoid the formation and deposition of dust. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Strictly limit the quantities of product in the work area to those which are absolutely necessary for the work in hand.
- Hygiene measures:
Prohibit contact with skin and eyes and inhalation of dust. When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Remove immediately soaked or soiled clothing. Wash separately. Wash hands after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Store away from moisture and heat to maintain the technical properties of the product. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and wellventilated
place. Keep away from heat and sources of ignition. Do not smoke. Store in original container. Provide electrical earthing of
equipment and electrical equipment usable in explosive atmospheres. Provide impermeable floor.
Store well away from other dangerous substances. Storage buildings must be built and equipped so as not to exceed the maximum
proscribed temperature limit. Use non-combustible construction materials.
Do not store above: 30 °C
Incompatible products: Strong acids, strong bases
Packaging material:
- Recommended: Polyethylene
- To be avoided: glass

Hand protection: Rubber or plastic gloves
Eye/face protection: Safety glasses with side-shields
Skin and body protection: Protective clothing (cotton)
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity & Chemical stability: The product is stable under normal handling and storage conditions.
Hazardous decomposition products:
Thermal decomposition giving toxic products:, Carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides (NOx)
Conditions to avoid: Temperatures above 30 °C
Keep away from heat and sources of ignition (risk of exothermic decomposition).
Incompatible materials to avoid: Strong acids, strong base
Disposal considerations
Disposal of product: Destroy the product by incineration (in accordance with local and national regulations).
