- Deviations from Guideline:
Use of copper (lI) sulfate pentahydrate as reference substance instead of 3,5-dichlorophenol, which is classified as carcinogenic. Therefore, it can not be used in the laboratory routine operation.
Activated sludge washed twice and not three times. This has proven to be sufficient.
Dry weight of activated sludge provided by guideline: 4 [g / L] ± 10 %. Since the activated sludge of Hildesheim Kläranlage is of comparatively high activity,
a lower sludge dry weight of 3 [g / L] ± 20 % was used. For the measurement of respiration this is proved to be suffici - GLP compliance:
- yes (incl. QA statement)
