1. Test on Thermal sensitivity (effect of a flame):

- Three test runs each were conducted with nozzle plate with 6 mm hole and nozzle plate with 2 mm hole.

- The result of all of these test runs was "no explosion", number of fragments "zero"

2. Test on Mechanical sensitivity (shock):

- Six test runs were conducted

- The reported reation of all of these test runs was "negative".

3. Test on Mechanical sensitivity (friction):

- Six test runs were conducted

- The reported reation of all of these test runs was "negative".

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The substance CA 2343 is not considered an explosive, as concluded from the test results on:
1. Thermal sensitivity (effect of a flame)
2. Mechanical sensitivity (shock)
3. Mechanical sensitivity (friction)
Executive summary:

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the explosive properties of test item CA 2343 (oxadiazinamine). the study was being conducted according to Directive 92/69/EEC, Part. A.14, on (1) thermal sensitivity / effect of a flame (steel sleeve test), (2) mechanical sensitivity / shock (falling hammer), and (3) mechanical sensitivity / friction (friction apparatus). The substance CA 2343 is not considered an explosive, as concluded from the test results of these studies.
