Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush with copious quantities of water.
Emergency measure - Skin: Flush with copious quantities of water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Flush out mouth with water.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: waterspray, dry chemical, carbon dioxide or foam
Product arising from burning: CO2, CO, H2O, N2
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Firefighters should use self-contained breathing equipment
and protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear proper face mask, gloves and safety goggles.
The in item 2.3 given safety precautions should be followed.
Spilled material must be picked up carefully and must be put
to incineration.
To reduce exposure during cleaning of spilled material an
appropriate industrial vacuum cleaner should be used.
The containers have to be labelled accordingly.
Handling and storage
Handling: Wear safety glasses with complete eye protection or a face
mask with dustmask and long-armed rubber/synthetic gloves.
Use local exhaust (with scrubber).
After work wash face and hands sufficiently and rinse out
mouth.
Wash and keep clean clothing.
Storage: Keep the material in an unbreakable, well closed container
at room-temperature a good ventilated store-room.
Secure the containers against falling. Avoid spilllage on
the outside of the containers.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Fibre drums with inner polylined bag for 50 kg net weight.

Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: This material is assumed to be combustible. When heated to
decomposition material emits toxic fumes.
Chemical reaction with water: No reaction in water.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not possible.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Symptomatic treatment, see section 2.5.00.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not preferable.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Substance can be disposed of in a proper incinerator. Handle
in accordance with appropriate national and local
regulation. Label waste containers properly (see 9.2.02).
